Specifically, we need to talk about your profiles on Tinder, a newish thing in the online dating space: an iPhone or Android app (weeding out those pesky Blackberry users) that circumvents the endless “my idea of a great first date” answers as you trudge through online dating profiles.

Becoming an old has thrown me a bit of a curve ball in the online dating scene. Since I turned 30, I’ve had an influx of messages from much older men.

I have a love/hate relationship with online dating. Strike that. I think I have Stockholm syndrome when it comes to online dating. It hasn’t treated me well, but I feel like I can’t leave (or every time I do, I keep going back).

I had gone out with GM a few times, and things were going pretty well. We had plans for dinner and a movie on date five, and that’s when it got a bit strange. I gave a list of restaurants in the area, and he let me choose my favorite. 

I’ve never been much of a cuddler, and I’ve been pretty vocal about this. In fact, I dislike cuddling so much that I typically discourage sleepovers, which has resulted in some slightly awkward conversations (Me: The Dupont bus is that way. Him: Are you serious? Me: As a heart attack.).
