Who pays on the first date? In general, the person who does the asking out should be prepared to pay for the date, but it can be a nice gesture for the person being taken out to offer some level of contribution on the date.

I had gone out with GM a few times, and things were going pretty well. We had plans for dinner and a movie on date five, and that’s when it got a bit strange. I gave a list of restaurants in the area, and he let me choose my favorite.

I’ve never been much of a cuddler, and I’ve been pretty vocal about this. In fact, I dislike cuddling so much that I typically discourage sleepovers, which has resulted in some slightly awkward conversations (Me: The Dupont bus is that way. Him: Are you serious? Me: As a heart attack.).
