11 Weeks Old
Baby might be able to hold her head up straight and steady when she’s pulled up into a sitting position. She loves music–especially if it’s mom (or partner!) singing the same song over and over!
You may be wondering if you will ever get into your pre-pregnancy clothes again. Slow and steady weight loss will get you back to where you started…. eventually. Don’t rush it; now is not the time for drastic diets! And if you’re breastfeeding, you still need extra calories. Just eat properly and stay active.
Help mom feel beautiful. You could surprise her with a gift–perhaps a stylish top or dress (one designed for nursing, if she’s breastfeeding) or a pretty accessory–or shower her with compliments. And join in her healthy habits: eating well and exercising.
It’s time to get out of the house together, if you haven’t already! Arrange for a babysitter and go out for a date night, just the two of you. It’s good for your relationship, so ultimately good for baby too. Try to remember this if you are suffering from separation anxiety!
