Baby is about the size of a mango this week. The senses are developing rapidly, and a protective coating called vernix (now, there’s a good Scrabble word) is forming on the skin.
With all that growth and activity going on, you might be getting pretty uncomfortable. Hang in, you’re almost halfway there! Ask your partner to help you maintain your good habits: rest, moderate exercise and healthy eating.
Plan a treat — a prenatal massage, a weekend getaway, a special date night — to help mom get her mind off her aches and pains (and to celebrate the halfway point!).
