8 Weeks Old


Baby’s development of her senses and motor skills is on overdrive! She’s exploring her surroundings (looking, listening) and her body (kicking, trying to grab). She’s getting stronger and may even do some mini push-ups during tummy time. Go, baby!


Speaking of push-ups, you should be slowly but surely getting into an exercise routine to get yourself back into shape. Much depends on how active you were before and during pregnancy; consult your doctor if you are unsure how to proceed.


Did you massage mom while she was pregnant? Transfer those skills to baby and give him a little massage. Mom would probably like one too, for some stress relief!


It’s time for baby to begin vaccinations; get your doctor (not the internet) to explain these miracles of modern medicine to both of you.
