One Couple’s Commitment To The Dare To Wear Love Challenge

What’s better than a cute couple? A cute, philanthropic couple!

Meet Rex Eng and Josee Jodin, the Toronto couple who volunteered to do the branding and graphics for this year’s Dare to Wear Love campaign through their design and communications firm, Public Good.

Along with donating their time and talent, the couple also participated in the Dare to Wear Love Challenge, a campaign that encouraged people to raise funds by wearing Canadian fashion labels for three weeks and getting their friends and family to sponsor them. The money goes to the Stephen Lewis Foundation and its fight to turn the tide of HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Rex and Josee set a fundraising goal of $500 and as of today, the final day of the DTWL Challenge, the couple has surpassed their goal by almost $200. They will be eligible to win a chance to walk the runway at the Dare to Wear Love Gala fashion show on March 22, 2013, which is the closing night show of Toronto Fashion Week.

For the launch of our upcoming 2life app, we’ve proudly partnered with Dare to Wear Love in their support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. For every twosome that installs our 2life app and creates a joint account, we will donate $1 (to a maximum of $25,000) to Dare to Wear Love.
