After a long distance romance between California and Texas, Jessica and Ruben married near Austin where Ruben’s family has deep roots. They imagined a natural, timeless and rustic setting for their celebration and chose the Vista West Ranch nestled in Texas Hill country just outside the city–a ranch that offered overnight accommodations for out-of-town guests. “I wanted a rustic wedding, and had envisioned a big fun gathering of close family and friends,” Jessica said. “I wanted people to feel comfortable and at home.”

An outdoor ceremony took place on the lawn overlooking the rolling hills–they exchanged vows underneath an altar decorated with baby’s breath with Jessica’s brother-in-law officiating. The rustic chic venue with weathered wood, aged tin, stained concrete floors and willow sphere lighting set the scene for gorgeous photos by Anna Smith Photography and an intimate reception with fifty guests filled with prayers, best wishes and so much love.
