Kinga & Jeff: A Family Affair

Kinga and Jeff met in high school and have been best friends ever since. About 4 months before their 10-year dating anniversary, they decided to buy a house and then get married on their anniversary date in September. They chose to have a garden wedding with only their immediate families present.

They held their intimate ceremony at the local town hall which happened to have a beautiful secret garden—a perfect backdrop for the ceremony and stunning photos by MK Photographics. “As soon as we knew that this is where we would be getting married, I knew the theme had to be colorful and floral. I love rich, vibrant colours so I made sure to reflect that in my bouquet and headpiece.” Kinga explains. She opted out of the veil since the wedding was more casual and instead wore a gorgeous floral headpiece that she made herself. Jeff wore a custom blue suit which was perfect for a September wedding and their romantic wedding portraits in the gardens. After the ceremony, they had a private dinner with just their close family at a local restaurant in an historical house which continued the secret garden theme.

“Our photographer captured our special day beautifully. Not only were the pictures scenic, they were a piece of art. More importantly, he truly captured who we are as a couple. The day was just perfect—intimate, romantic, relaxed and very special!” says Kinga. The magical photos by MK Photographics give us a great example of how love, joy and family are the main ingredients of a memorable wedding.
