Even though the day was overcast and drizzly, the setting for Jo and Andy’s wedding could not have been lovelier, as these images by Jo+Bo Photography reveal. It was held at the extraordinary Rockwater Secret Cove Resort in Halfmoon Bay, BC, on Canada’s west coast.

The colorful bridesmaids dresses, simple bouquets, hairdos adorned with baby’s breath, and smart green bow ties for the men made for an informal look befitting the location. A batch of white umbrellas were practical for keeping dry and also fun photo props. We especially love the foliage-covered arch, with its origami birds reminiscent of seagulls — easily made and inexpensive, yet so effective.

Andy proposed to Jo during a walk in the rain by the sea, so their wedding on the shore was the perfect sequel.
