Go On A Transit Tour
If there is a public transit system where you live, get on at the nearest stop and go for an extended ride to nowhere in particular, to do some people watching and discover other parts of town.
Some ideas:
Get a day pass so you can get on and off as frequently as you like. Then get off at random stops to walk a while and explore or have refreshments.
Choose one principal or famous route and ride it from one end to the other.
Document your journey with photos and share highlights on Facebook or Instagram.
