A Formal Affair with Grand Architecture and Antique Design Details
Margot and Mitch let the grand architecture of their historic venues set the tone for a timeless celebration in Indianapolis, captured by Pabst Photo. A traditional ceremony was held at the magnificent St. John’s Catholic Church. The couple then had portraits taken with their wedding party on the formal steps of the nearby Veterans War Memorial. A trolley transported the wedding party to the landmark Columbia Club for an elegant reception. In the months leading up to the wedding, the couple collected pieces of blue and white porcelain china and textiles to form the basis of the decor theme. White and yellow flower arrangements in antique vases and blue and white patterns reproduced onto table numbers, menu cards and party favors created a look that was eclectic and sophisticated.
