Not all couples dream of exchanging vows in a romantic setting, complete with rose petals strewn down the aisle and an acoustic guitarist serenading the crowd.

Take, for example, Halloween-loving couple Adam and Monica. Adam proposed to his “living dead girl” last Devil’s Night by busting out of a coffin and jumping into a blood-filled fountain before presenting Monica with a spooky custom-made engagement ring.

The happy couple plan to get hitched on October 31, 2013 at Screemers, the haunted “screem” park in Toronto, Canada where Adam’s bone-chilling proposal took place. Despite its ghosts and goblins, Screemers is a special spot the duo: they met through mutual friends while working at the attraction, a job they’ve both returned to every October for the past nine years.

Friends and family of the couple weren’t surprised that they were planning an unconventional wedding — and who would be after hearing their proposal story! Both the bride and groom’s parents will be dressed up for the nuptials this Halloween along with what Adam and Monica call their “Halloween family” – all of the ghosts and ghouls at Screemers.

There’s no official word on the menu, but we imagine guests will gorge on a feast of brains, eyeballs and severed limbs. Delectable!
