Apple Unveils iPad Air
“Hello, Beautiful.” That’s what we’ll all be saying when we get our hands on Apple’s new ultralight iPad Air. The announcement about the fifth generation iPad came on Tuesday, October 22 during an event in Cupertino, California.
Weighing it at one pound, the iPad Air is thinner than previous models (it’s 7.5 millimeters “thick”) and comes equipped with a faster processor and Retina display. The elegant new device retails for $499 and will be available to order on November 1 — just in time for the holiday shopping season.
Other noteworthy features include a 10-hour battery life, a fancy 5-megapixel iSight camera (thank goodness!) and a wider display area thanks to thinner bezels.
Once you get your shiny iPad Air, be sure to download 2life, the app for your most important relationship. The universal iOS app is designed for two people and let’s you and your partner share photos, coordinate calendar events and make and manage lists, all in one place. [APPLE]
