Here’s an unusual combination of elements to inspire a wedding theme: music and lemons. Katherine and Andrew, both big fans of music, were married in beautiful downtown Toronto, with the ceremony at the University of Toronto’s Trinity College Chapel and the reception at the Royal Conservatory of Music where the bride played many piano recitals as a child.

The modern decor included vintage and whimsical elements and plenty of lemon yellow accents, as well as actual lemons! Floral arrangements of ranunculus, anemones and dahlias were dispersed among mercury candles, bell jars and lemons. The escort card display, hung on an old window frame, was inspired by the keys of a piano. Other decor touches included wine crates and vintage pieces, a display of framed family photos, and rustic table numbers and signage created by the couple with help from friends and family.

Rebecca Chan and her team pulled together all the details to bring the couple’s vision to life and A Brit & A Blonde Photography captured it beautifully. The result was picture-perfect… without a single sour note.
